My CV page

  • This was my first page on the site

This story starts when, being unemployed at the time, I constructed this site to display my CV to the WWW.  There were not photos and the address was http://www.chez.com/cvtocheport . Happily the bad times ended, I got a new job and so the original reason for this site disappeared … And was born again, totally transformed : CV site no longer, now it had become a PHOTO site!

I have nevertheless kept this page for several reasons. One is because it’s to be found on the main search-engines* and another because It might perhaps give hope to visitors who are looking for work. (*Yahoo, Altavista, Nomade, Voila, Excite, Google, Lycos, Kartoo ...).

This being the most narcissistic of my pages, it stands to reason that from now on I shall be giving rein to my free expression…and all that could mean in the way of excess.

Portrait of the webmaster

Times change, and after somehow being a bachelor until the age of 46 (“well done!” commented a visitor to the site) I gave it up.

I originally come from Aquitaine, now I’m in Midi-Pyrenees… talkative, love reading, amateur photography and the Internet, as well as tasty regional dishes…not camel, I must stress (well nobody’s perfect).

Details of earlier career

More or less self-taught (back row of the classroom, next to the radiator and the window), an unusual way of life, but rich in variety.  One thing stays the same, passionate hobbies which have turned into careers, stamp collector to philatelist, salesman to buyer, chatterbox to broadcaster, Crossword-puzzler to journalist, and finally Internet user to webmaster.  That’s about it. I’ve told you just about everything.

 Project

Certain questions keep cropping up from time to time in letters to this site.  Some are on a personal level (am I still a bachelor, am I still looking for work…) or some concerns photography (am I in a photo club, how to find models, what equipment did I  use for this or that photo…) I intend to use this page in order to reply in the form of a Question Forum…to be continued
