section is a bit of a jumble, containing as it does photos which don’t
seem to fit in anywhere else on this site.
It provides me with
the opportunity, though, to give a bit of background to some of the
pictures …

Although
originally from the Aquitaine region, I’ve lived for a long time
in Midi-Pyrenees.
Dividing my time between Toulouse and Bordeaux, that’s how
I arrived at this montage of monuments; and how the Capitole
building came to find itself in the fountains of the Gironde
prefecture. |

Sometimes
a photo destined for
oblivion captures the imagination of someone else.
That’s
what happened with this picture of fishing nets taken several years
ago.
Thanks to the person who jogged my memory by asking for an
